HD-SDI Fiber Optic Extender enables long and short haul transmission over single mode fibre of multi-rate HD/SD SDI video, with embedded audio and metadata. Made for high resolution image performance, it uses all digital technology to transmit multi-rate HS/SD SDI signals up to 1.5 Gbps. Using CWDM multiplexing technology we can transport up to 16 separate signals from different sources from place A to B point-to-point or A to many receivers at the same time ,point to multipoint applications. Bi-directional optical transmission is also available. Using our universal CWDM multiplexing platform CL2500 and CL5000 we are able to mix any different signals like Ethernet, RS 232, CATV RF, L-band, Baseband Video / Audio, QAM on the same fibre. To optimize SDI signal transmission all input signals are equalized and output signals are relocked. It could be used in many different applications: Transport form Tv’s studios to cable companies head ends, digital signal, broadcast and production, rental and staging, and medical applications - Government, military, police, schools, satellite companies, and medical environments It designed for long distance transmission of high resolution content with zero loss in signal quality. Because transmission of content is inherently secure and immune to outside interference, fiber optic transport applications are very reliable. Standard SC, ST, FC, LC-type connectors are used. CL-HDSDI-MM supports multimode fiber at 850 nm, which is typically used within buildings or facilities with transmission distances up to 1000 m (3280 feet). The CL-HD-SDI-T and RX supports singlemode 1310 nm 1550nm or CWDM ,DWDM ITU frequencies. Singlemode fiber offers long-range transmission capability over extreme distances of up to 120 km (75 miles). It is used in very large facilities such as airports and stadiums, and for connecting over very long distances between facilities such as university campuses. It is protocol independent, recognizes and transmits SDI, HD-SDI, ASIs, and is compliant with SMPTE 259M, 292M, 424M, and ITU digital video standards. CL-HDSDI-TR transceiver, multi-rate SDI signals can be simultaneously transmitted and received between the units.
