Video QAM Modulator for HD Video over Coax
Most homes and buildings are wired with a network of coax antenna cables. Our CL-x000 units are for Cable TV frequency modulation of HD video signals. They allow distribution of HD video over coax in a building or residence. Most HD video over Coax solutions will not allow the coax to also be used for Cable TV. Our solution allows a user to replace or add an HD cable channel to the cable TV already on the coax. This is useful for displaying a video signal on multiple displays throughout a building on the same HDTV system that is already used for cable TV or off air HDTV. To view the Video over Coax signal all a user has to do is simply tune the TV to the correct channel. Our CL-3000 series QAM modulator can be used for HD-SDI over Coax, SD-SDI over coax, VGA over Coax, as well as more basic signals such as component or baseband video.
Typical applications include digital displays in sports, retail, and entertainment facilities, such as restaurants and storefronts. They are also popular in colleges, schools, worship centres, and corporate offices. Another popular application is for creating a local TV network for Hotels. Several of our Video over Coax units can be used together to create your own local TV channel network. A single common video source can be broadcast on its own TV channel to many different HDTV’s. There are many different applications for QAM Modulators, contact a sales representative today to discuss your particular Video over Coax needs.
